About our Troop, Current Patrols & Eagle Scouts
Troop 82 was originally chartered on January 1, 1966 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Portsmouth RI. There we had countless Scouts move through the ranks of the Troop with 147 of them achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. During our over 50 years of existence we have been to many campouts, travelled to high adventure Scout Camps, attended National Jamborees and had a great time doing all the things Scouts do. In 2021, the Troop found a new Chart Org with the Portsmouth United Methodist Church, had 4 more reach Eagle Scout and are looking forward to another 50 years!
Order of the Flying Beavers
Do not overlook this young, but powerful patrol! This may be the newest patrol in the Troop, but they are making a name for themselves!
Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies
No longer the rookies in the Troop, but not letting off anytime soon, these Scouts will scorch the competition!
